TeacherActive is partnering with Bradford primary schools to recruit Primary SEND Support staff for short-term and long-term positions. The role focuses on supporting primary-aged pupils with SEND within inclusive classrooms, helping learners engage and progress.

The successful candidate will work alongside teaching staff, build positive relationships, and provide classroom and individual support. A patient, resilient and adaptable approach is essential.

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £100 - 120 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with Primary Schools in Bradford who are looking to appoint Primary SEND Support. The schools provide supportive and inclusive learning environments where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally.

The schools are looking for Primary SEND Support for short-term and long-term opportunities, working with primary-aged pupils with SEND and additional learning needs. The successful Primary SEND Support will work alongside teaching staff to provide classroom and individual support, encourage engagement with learning and help pupils develop their confidence and independence.

The successful Primary SEND Support will have:

• Experience working with primary-aged children with SEND or additional needs
• Experience supporting children within an education setting
• Confidence supporting pupils with their learning and development
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get stuck in
