The Northumberland Church of England Academy is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for The Cabin at William Leech, a new specialist base supporting primary pupils with SEMH and SLCN. You will work with children on a daily basis, providing personalised support to help them learn, grow socially and emotionally, and thrive in a trauma-informed environment.
The role is permanent, 32.5 hours per week during term time plus 5 additional days.
Salary: Band 3 £25,583 - £25,989 pro rata (£19,389 - £19,696 actual)

The Cabin at William Leech is a brand new provision designed to support children with SEMH and SLCN needs. The Cabin at William Leech will provide high quality bespoke support for the children, with a trauma informed approach to learning.
Our Teaching Assistants will play a key role within The Cabin, as they will work closely with the children on a day to day basis and provide personalised support that helps the children learn and develop. The successful candidate will work both individually and with small groups of children with a range of different needs, helping them thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
