Salary: £12.37 - £13.49 per hour (£22,102.72 to £24,103.93 actual salary)
Hours: 40 hours per week – Term Time Only

The Aurora Hanley School is an 'Outstanding' rated innovative provider of education and care, supporting young people aged 6 - 19 with complex needs typically related to Asperger’s Syndrome, Autism, and other conditions.
We’re currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
As our new Teaching Assistant, your role is to support our children with their learning and wellbeing to ensure every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment.
This may include supporting with care needs and positive behaviour management, adopting a tailored approach to each child.
You will establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with pupils to help them feel safe, enjoy learning, and promote independence and personal development, while maintaining high expectations of behaviour.
You will support the class teacher and contribute to providing high-quality, challenging, and differentiated educational activities across a broad curriculum to help pupils achieve their full potential.
Given the variability in SEN environments, candidates should be flexible and ready to assist wherever needed.
