Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across both primary and secondary settings in the Stockton area. You will work with the class teacher to run learning activities, support small groups or individuals, and help manage classroom routines.

Ideal candidates are proactive, patient, and have strong communication skills with staff and pupils. This temporary role offers ongoing support from a dedicated consultant and potential for long-term or permanent

What your day could look like:

• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day learning activities

• Helping to keep students engaged, focused, and motivated
• Assisting with classroom management and organisation
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children (school-based or similar)
• Is proactive, reliable, and ready to get stuck in
• Communicates well with both pupils and staff
• Brings a positive attitude and lots of patience
• Is adaptable — no two days are ever the same!
