Connex Education are seeking a compassionate Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to support primary pupils with a range of complex needs in Spilsby. You will assist with learning, personal care and communication throughout the school day, working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised support.
The role offers part-time or full-time hours on a day-to-day basis with long-term opportunities.

Connex Education are recruiting for a compassionate, dedicated and proactive Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant. This role involves supporting primary‑aged pupils with a range of complex special educational needs and disabilities, including autism, severe and profound learning difficulties, and complex medical needs, helping them to access a personalised curriculum and achieve their full potential. Working closely with experienced teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals, you will provide both educational and practical support throughout the school day. The successful candidate will be calm, resilient and adaptable, with the confidence to support pupils with their learning, communication, personal care and medical needs while building positive, trusting relationships with both pupils and their families. This role is based within the school’s primary provision, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a nurturing, highly specialised learning environment where communication, independence and wellbeing are at the heart of everything they do.
The School is a highly regarded specialist setting, supporting children and young people aged 2–19 with a wide range of complex special educational needs and disabilities, including autism, severe and profound learning difficulties, and complex medical needs. The role is based within the school’s primary provision, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The school provides a nurturing, inclusive environment where every pupil is encouraged to develop their communication, independence and confidence through personalised learning. Staff work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals and families to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
