Teaching Personnel Ltd is recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in and around Shepton Mallet, Somerset. This is a supply-based, part-time role with a September 2026 start, offering flexible hours to fit around commitments.

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant seeking flexible work that fits around your existing commitments?
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting skilled and adaptable professionals to provide cover support across a range of specialist SEN and SEMH provisions in and around Shepton Mallet.
This is a supply-based, part-time opportunity with a September 2026 start, although earlier placements may be available for suitable candidates.
This position is ideal for individuals who are confident working within specialist educational settings and can quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff. As this is ad hoc cover work, we are looking for people who can hit the ground running and confidently step into a variety of classroom environments.
Teaching Personnel offers access to a wide variety of SEN and SEMH provisions, allowing you to gain valuable experience across multiple settings rather than being restricted to one site. We work closely with schools requiring reliable supply staff and can offer flexibility around your availability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
