TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for a specialist SEND school in Sale. The role is full-time and long-term with an immediate start, supporting pupils with PMLD and Autism in KS2 to KS4.

You will work alongside teaching staff to provide individualised support and help pupils access learning. The successful candidate will be patient, caring and adaptable, with experience of SEND and a flexible approach to meet diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Experience supporting pupils with PMLD and/or Autism.
• Patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Sale that supports children and young people across Key Stage 2 / KS2 to Key Stage 4 / KS4. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment for pupils with a range of additional needs, including PMLD and Autism.

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support pupils with PMLD and Autism, working alongside teaching staff to provide individualised support, encourage engagement and help pupils access learning and develop their independence.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Experience supporting pupils with PMLD and/or Autism
• A patient, caring and resilient approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A flexible and adaptable approach to supporting individual needs
