Job summary

Academics is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a welcoming mainstream primary school in Gravesend, Kent. You will support children with ADHD and Autism to reach their potential, working throughout KS1 and KS2, with a focus on inclusive learning.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ADHD and Autism.
• Patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
• Confident working across KS1 and KS2.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to helping every child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs.
• Work with both small intervention groups and larger classroom groups.
• Support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement individual support strategies.
• Promote an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment.
