Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Shawford is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to join our specialist primary school, supporting children aged 4-11 with additional needs.

You’ll work alongside teachers to help pupils access learning, build confidence, develop communication and social skills, and manage emotions and behaviour.

No prior LSA experience is required; DBS checks will be completed; the role is full-time, term-time only, at £14.25 per hour.

Job description

Location: Shawford
Salary: £14.25 per hour
Hours: Full time, term time only

We are looking for a caring, patient and reliable Learning Support Assistant to join our specialist primary school in Shawford, supporting children aged 4-11 with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs.

You’ll work alongside teachers and the wider team to help pupils access learning, build confidence and independence, develop communication and social skills, and manage emotions and behaviour.

You don’t need to have worked as an LSA before. We welcome applications from people with experience in education, childcare, care, youth work, support work or other roles where you have worked with children or provided support to others.
