The Role:
Education World is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Nottingham. This role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, develop socially and emotionally, and achieve their full potential in the classroom.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience supporting children with special educational needs such as autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties.
A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to behaviour and learning support.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff and pupils.
Flexibility and resilience to adapt to changing pupil needs and classroom dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN.
Supporting the implementation of individual learning plans and targeted interventions.
Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
Collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to review progress and update support strategies.
