Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated Behavioural Teaching Assistants to work in a reputable Special Needs Secondary school based in Islington on a full-time, long-term basis.

Successful candidates will have:

• Experience working with children, preferably vulnerable or with Special Needs, including Autism, Learning Difficulties, Challenging or Aggressive Behaviour, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Hyper-mobility, and related conditions.
• The ability to provide social, emotional, and academic support to students while building positive relationships.
• Experience supporting classroom activities alongside teachers.
• Capability to hold 1:1 interventions with students outside of the classroom.
• Awareness of individual needs and the ability to provide personalized support.
• Willingness to provide personal care when required.
• A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one.
• Reliability, consistency, and a drive to succeed.
