Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-resourced school in Chelmsford. This full-time, long-term role starts ASAP and involves 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes for pupils with diverse needs.

You will support communication, emotional regulation and engagement, follow EHCP targets, and assist with personal care where needed, working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals in a calm, structured

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
  • Calm, patient and resilient approach.
  • Able to work across primary and secondary age groups.
  • Confident supporting non-verbal pupils.
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Chelmsford that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible.

The Role

Both experienced SEN Teaching Assistants and strong mainstream TAs looking to move into a specialist setting are encouraged to apply.
