Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Aylesbury
Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: 90 - 105
Contract: Full-time, long-term

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Aylesbury is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This full-time, long-term role offers a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of special educational needs within a supportive and nurturing environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs

  • Assisting the class teacher in adapting lesson content for accessibility

  • Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning differences

  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress and communicating with the SENCO

  • Helping to create a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting

  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff

  • Commitment to making a positive impact on pupil wellbeing and progress
