Salary: £88.92 - £106 per day

Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing

Monarch Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to help a special needs school in Birmingham.

The school we are recruiting for is a vibrant and inclusive special primary school catering to pupils aged 3-11 with a range of complex learning needs. Tailored curriculum, and strong focus on communication, independence, and personal development.

The Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be working closely with class teachers and therapists to support pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis. You will help deliver personalised learning plans, promote positive behaviour, and contribute to creating a calm, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with EHCPs across a range of needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and physical disabilities
• Assisting with classroom activities, sensory sessions, and life skills development
• Encouraging independence and social interaction
• Liaising with parents, staff, and external professionals to ensure pupil progress
