Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start – Waltham Forest

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role starting next week? Do you have the skills and passion to support children with special educational needs (SEN) in a welcoming and inclusive school?

A fantastic primary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs and make a real impact.

The Role:

1. 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN, including autism (ASC), ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
2. Implementing effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment
3. Assisting teachers in delivering tailored learning activities
4. Encouraging student independence, confidence, and engagement

Requirements:

1. Experience working in a school setting (essential)
2. Knowledge of SEN support strategies, including autism, ADHD, and communication needs
3. Strong behaviour management skills and a patient, supportive approach
4. A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
5. Ability to commit to a full-time, long-term role
