Job summary

St Michael’s Easthampstead CE VA Primary School in Bracknell is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support learning across KS1 and KS2. The position runs term-time with a fixed pattern of hours and a commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.

You will deliver planned interventions, build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff, and work with the team to ensure high standards of behaviour and inclusivity for all learners.

  • Willingness to work as part of a team.
  • An interest in Sports & PE would be ideal but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality support and interventions for both groups and individuals.
  • Develop positive relationships with students, parents and staff.
  • Have the ability to work using own initiative and adapt to changing situations.
  • Be resilient with good behaviour management and team collaboration.
  • Have experience of working with children, ideally SEN, and knowledge of safeguarding.

Working pattern: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm but with some flexibility for the right candidate. This is a fixed term contract until 31 st August 2027.
