Job summary

Long Term Futures is currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Dudley on a long-term basis. You will work with pupils with SEMH, Autism, SLCN, and other needs, providing tailored support in small groups and 1:1 settings to help pupils engage with learning.

• Previous experience supporting primary-aged children with SEND.
• Experience with needs such as SEMH, Autism, SLCN, MLD or complex needs.
• Confidence supporting behaviour and emotional regulation.
• A patient, consistent and adaptable approach.
• A genuine interest in long-term SEN support

You will work with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including SEMH, Autism, Speech and Language (SLCN), moderate learning difficulties and complex communication needs, providing tailored support in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong SEND experience who can build positive relationships, support communication and emotional regulation, and help pupils engage confidently with learning.
