Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Denton on a long-term basis. This full-time, temp-to-perm role starts as soon as possible and offers strong personal development opportunities within a caring school community.

You will support pupils with additional needs, adapt activities for accessibility, and help implement EHCPs within a warm Denton classroom focused on emotional wellbeing and pupil progress.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, support worker, or in a similar educational role.
  • Strong understanding of special educational needs, particularly ASC and speech and language difficulties.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, adaptable approach to learning support in Denton
