Job summary

GSL Education in Bourne, Lincolnshire, is seeking a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of needs. The role is Monday to Friday and starts on a supply basis with opportunities to progress into long-term or permanent positions.

Ideal candidates will have experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar SEN support setting, be patient and reliable, and work well with teachers and staff. A strong safeguarding focus and DBS checks are required before appointment.

GSL Education are currently seeking a caring, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Bourne, Lincolnshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience supporting children or vulnerable individuals who is passionate about helping pupils thrive both academically and personally.

The Role:

• Working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
• Monday-Friday availability required
• Initially working on a supply basis, with the opportunity to progress into a long-term or permanent position
• Providing tailored support to help pupils engage with their learning
• Working alongside teachers and support staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting pupils' emotional, social and educational development
