Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackley (M9).
The successful candidate will work within a small SEN provision, supporting a teacher and a group of four children with additional needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys working in a smaller, more specialist environment and can provide calm, consistent and individualised support.
You will work closely alongside the class teacher to support the four pupils within the provision, helping to create a structured and positive learning environment. Responsibilities will include:
The school is keen to hear from candidates who have previous experience working with children with SEN or additional needs. You should be patient, adaptable and confident working as part of a small team.
Experience within a specialist provision, SEN school or primary setting would be highly beneficial, although strong mainstream SEN experience will also be considered.
