Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a SEND Teacher with QTS for a long-term role in Northfield, South Birmingham. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs and collaborate with support staff to ensure a consistent SEND approach.

The role offers daily rates of £170 - £220, a supportive setting, and ongoing professional development. An immediate start is preferred, with safeguarding and DBS checks in line with school policy.

Qualifications

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND setting in Northfield, South Birmingham supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. The setting provides a supportive and structured environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and achieve their potential.

The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEND Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs and work closely with support staff to provide a consistent approach for pupils with SEND.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching children and young people with SEND
• Experience adapting lessons to meet a range of individual needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
