Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Bristol and surrounding areas.

You will deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with autism, MLD/SLD, ADHD, SEMH, and other complex needs, collaborating with Learning Support Assistants to support individual learning plans. A QTS or equivalent is required, and the role is full-time and long-term with potential permanent opportunities.

SEN Teacher – Specialist School

Location:Bristol and surrounding areas
Contract: Full-time, long-term

Are you an enthusiastic teacher with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs?

We are recruiting an SEN Teacher to work within a specialist school supporting pupils with a range of complex learning needs.

You will be responsible for creating engaging and accessible lessons that meet the individual needs of every learner.

The school supports pupils with needs including:

• Autism
• Moderate and severe learning difficulties
• Communication difficulties
• ADHD
• Physical and sensory needs
• SEMH needs

You will work alongside experienced Learning Support Assistants and specialist professionals to ensure every pupil receives the support they need.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has experience working with SEN pupils, or a strong interest in specialist education
• Can differentiate lessons effectively
• Has excellent behaviour management skills
• Is patient, adaptable and creative
