Hanson Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher for a full-time post in South Gloucestershire, starting in September. The role supports SEMH pupils during school hours, Monday to Friday, with September start and term-time alignment.
The ideal candidate will hold QTS with experience in either Primary or Secondary settings, demonstrating empathy and the ability to engage pupils returning after long absences.
Location: South Gloucestershire
Pay Rate: £150 - £180 per day (subject to experience and qualifications)
Hours: September start; this is a full-time role Monday to Friday during school hours.

We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated individuals who share our and our school's mission of empowering SEMH pupils to lead lives full of choice and opportunity. We are currently looking for a special needs teacher with a passion for SEN to start in September. The SEN teacher role is full-time and may become permanent after an initial period of successful outcomes for pupils.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has a keen interest in teaching pupils of a variety of ages with additional needs and puts emphasis on project based and experiential learning. We are looking for a passionate and innovative teacher who has genuine passion for SEN and is flexible and innovative in their approach to teaching, communicating and can be self-reflective. Someone ideally with proven track record of making a difference to pupils and school/s they worked with in terms of the quality of learning and relationships they created. A team player who can think on their feet, but also take guidance and be really on the same journey as the rest of the staff.
