Remedy Education is seeking dedicated SEN Teachers to join our partner SEN schools in Billericay, teaching across primary and secondary settings with immediate start. The role supports children with additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and progress toward their potential.

Candidates should hold QTS or equivalent and PGCE, with a passion for inclusive education and strong classroom management. Long-term roles with potential for permanency are offered.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is required.
• PGCE or equivalent training is required.
• Experience or strong interest in SEN education (primary or secondary).
• Patient, resilient and adaptable with strong classroom management.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Teach pupils across primary and/or secondary SEN settings depending on placement.
• Adapt curriculum content to meet a wide range of additional needs and abilities.
• Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
• Build positive, consistent relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress.
• Use a range of strategies to support communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation.
• Work closely with SEN support staff, therapists, and wider school teams.
• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations.
• Implement and follow EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
• Support positive behaviour management strategies across the classroom.
