Job summary

The Supply Register, in partnership with Pioneer House SEN School in Manchester, is seeking a skilled SEN Teacher to deliver inclusive, differentiated lessons to pupils with a range of needs.

You will support pupils with EHCPs, foster a safe, structured classroom, and collaborate with TAs, SENCOs, and families while tracking progress.

This full-time, term-time role offers weekly pay and opportunities for ongoing CPD and permanent positions.

Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience teaching pupils with additional needs.
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Support pupils with EHCPs and varied needs.
  • Foster a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and support teams.
  • Track pupil progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.

SEN Teacher – Pioneer House SEN School (Manchester)

In partnership with The Supply Register

  • Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
  • Start Date: ASAP /October half term
  • Contract: Full-Time (hours may vary based on school needs)

The Supply Register is delighted to be working in partnership with Pioneer House SEN School in Manchester, a specialist setting dedicated to supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate SEN Teacher who is passionate about creating inclusive learning experiences and helping every child achieve their full potential.

The Role
  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with EHCPs and a variety of additional needs
  • Foster a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and wider support teams
  • Track and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where needed
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience working with SEN pupils in a school or specialist setting
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A patient, resilient and nurturing approach

Requirements
