Leigh Academy Rainham is recruiting a brand-new SEN Teacher for January 2027 or earlier. The Meegan Centre provides specialist provision for students with EHCPs, embedded within a modern school environment.

The post leads the design and delivery of targeted English and Maths curricula, focusing on embedding core KS3 skills to support future GCSE success, with small-group SEND teaching and cross-school impact.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering targeted English and Maths curricula.
• Proven ability to teach students with SEND within a KS3 framework.
• Strong understanding of foundational skills for GCSE progression.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of English and Maths for KS3 within the Meegan Centre.
• Deliver high-quality small-group SEND teaching in a state-of-the-art facility.
• Collaborate with inclusion and foundational skills leadership teams to embed school-wide impact.
