Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking committed SEN teachers for Canterbury and surrounding areas. Roles are long-term, with both full-time and part-time opportunities.

You will plan differentiated lessons for children with SEND, work with support staff and specialists, and contribute to inclusive, personalised education. Applicants should have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience with SEN such as PMLD, ASD, SEMH.

Qualifications

• QTS required with SEN experience preferred.
• Experience with PMLD, ASD, SEMH and complex needs is advantageous.
• Commitment to inclusive, personalised education and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for SEN pupils.
• Create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and families.
• Regularly assess progress and adapt strategies accordingly.
