Qualifications

• Qualified SEN teacher with relevant teaching qualification.
• Extensive experience of the SEN curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS on the updated service.
• Up-to-date safeguarding and allergy training.
• References covering the last 2 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs.
• Adapting teaching approaches, resources and activities to ensure all pupils can access learning.
• Creating a calm, structured and supportive classroom environment.
• Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
• Supporting pupils' academic, social, emotional and personal development.
