Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Leicester from September. The role offers full-time or part-time hours (8:30am-3:30pm) within term-time schedule, providing one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEN.

You will assist teachers, foster inclusive learning, and help develop pupils’ academic, social and emotional skills in a supportive classroom environment. DBS checks and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a UK primary school or nursery (essential).
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs is desirable.
  • Availability to work school hours (8:30am-3:30pm).
  • A caring, patient and proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
