Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated SEND teacher to join our network across Teesside and Darlington. You will support children with a range of SEND in specialist settings, delivering personalised interventions and helping them reach EHCP targets.

In this role you will foster a positive classroom environment, manage behaviour with care, and uphold safeguarding procedures. The position is temporary with potential for permanence, with CPD and ongoing consultant support offered by Protocol

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification and experience with SEND students.
• Patient, empathetic approach and adaptability to diverse needs.
• Eligible to work in the UK and meet safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspiring and personalised teaching across SEND learners in Teesside and Darlington.
• Create positive learning environments with effective behaviour management.
• Safeguard pupil welfare and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Deliver engaging, hands-on learning aligned to EHCP targets.
