This specialist school local to you supports children and young adults from the age of 5 years with complex and severe special educational needs. It is both a primary and secondary provision. Needs supported include SEMH and non-verbal. This School's community is incredibly special. They are a truly inclusive school, the school appreciates difference and celebrates individual strengths. In order to learn well, the children and young adults must all feel safe and secure. As such, they have un-apologetically high standards for behaviour and conduct, and no tolerance for bullying or discrimination. As such, they are graded by Ofsted as 'Outstanding' for behaviour and safety.

Role

The school is seeking a SEN teacher to deliver high quality teaching and learning across multiple subjects to children and young people with specialist needs who may present with challenging behaviours associated with their diagnosis. Some pupils may have multiple learning difficulties. This role is needed on a full time, permanent basis (40 hours a week) term time only.

Requirements
