Zusammenfassung

Polaris Education is seeking a SEN Class Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons under the national curriculum, addressing SEMH needs in a supportive Northwich setting. The role requires QTS, a degree, and prior teaching experience, with DBS clearance arranged by Polaris.

You will collaborate with a friendly team, manage classroom behaviour, and monitor student progress, contributing to a holistic education that supports emotional wellbeing and personal growth for vulnerable learners.

Qualifikationen

• Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
• Have a strong basic education to degree level.
• Previous successful teaching experience.
• Some previous experience of working with pupils with SEMH within an educational setting.
• Experience of behaviour management and techniques.
• Committed to professional development and willing to learn.
• Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check prior to commencing work.

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver high quality lessons within the national curriculum while meeting the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
• Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviours.
• Report on pupils' progress and concerns, and liaise with other school staff to ensure pupils' needs are met.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom time including extra-curricular activities and school trips.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and drive interaction and positive learning outcomes.
