Polaris Education - Redstone Hall School in Ipswich is seeking a SEN Class Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons within the National Curriculum, meeting the complex SEMH needs of pupils aged 5 to 18. You will join a supportive team focused on safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

The role requires QTS, a degree, and proven teaching experience with SEMH learners. This full-time post offers a term-time contract, competitive salary (£28,000 - £39,520) and benefits including pension and life assurance.

Qualificações

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Educated to degree level.
• Previous successful teaching experience.
• Previous experience of working with pupils with SEMH within an educational setting.
• Experience of behaviour-management strategies and techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons within the National Curriculum while meeting the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
• Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviour.
• Report on pupils' progress and concerns, liaising with other staff to ensure needs are met.
• Supervise pupils during times outside lessons, including extra-curricular activities and school trips.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and encourage engagement and positive learning outcomes.
