Job Details

• Location: Park School, Chipping Norton, OX7 5QH
• Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum (dependent on experience, full amount before tax)
• Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday
• Contract: Permanent, Term-Time Only
• Eligibility: UK Applicants only. No sponsorship provided.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher with SEMH experience to join our team at Park School. You will adopt a creative, therapeutic approach to teaching pupils with complex needs, ensuring the delivery of the curriculum in a way that maximizes achievement and development. This role offers the opportunity to focus more on developing creative learning opportunities and less on paperwork, within a school committed to safeguarding and pupil involvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with pupils with SEMH is desirable but not essential
• Experience in the independent SEMH sector and with SEN pupils is advantageous
• Educated to degree level
• Comfortable with a therapeutic approach to teaching
