Are you an experienced and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive, nurturing school environment? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a primary school in the NG12 area, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting children with a range of additional needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about providing tailored support and making a positive impact on students’ learning and development.

The Role:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to children with SEN, ensuring their individual learning needs are met

Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Assess pupils’ progress and adapt teaching strategies to ensure every child achieves their full potential

Collaborate with parents, carers, and outside agencies to develop effective learning plans

Support children’s emotional and social development, promoting positive behaviour and well-being

Maintain clear records of pupils’ progress and report to senior leadership as required

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience working with children with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or physical disabilities

A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

A proactive attitude and the ability to differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of pupils

An understanding of key SEN strategies and a commitment to inclusive education
