Position: SEN Teacher
Location: Wirral

A specialist school in the Wirral is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teacher to join its team. Role Overview:
The SEN Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, tailored educational programmes designed to meet the diverse needs of learners. This includes implementing effective behaviour strategies, adapting teaching methods, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, individualised lessons that align with each student’s learning needs.
  • Use creative, flexible teaching methods to engage students and promote progress.
  • Develop and implement behaviour support strategies that encourage positive outcomes.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, adapting approaches to ensure continued development.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, carers, and colleagues to support each child’s growth.
  • Collaborate with the wider school team to share best practice and continually enhance teaching approaches.

About the Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in SEN settings.
