SEN Teacher - Levenshulme, Manchester
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (27.5 hours per week)
Key Stages: KS1, KS2, KS3
Pay: Main/Upper Pay Scale plus SEN Point 1 allowance

About the Role:

Aspire People is currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive educational setting in Levenshulme, Manchester. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver tailored learning experiences for pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them develop their skills and abilities within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver a personalised and engaging educational programme that meets the diverse needs of SEN pupils

- Plan, deliver, and review lessons to ensure all students make meaningful progress

- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment within the curriculum area

- Lead, develop, and support the teaching practice of colleagues

- Participate actively in the day-to-day management of the school

- Liaise effectively with internal teams and external support agencies to maximise student outcomes

- Contribute to ongoing self-evaluation and school improvement processes

Candidate Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Experience teaching across KS1, KS2, and KS3 with a focus on SEN pupils

- Ability to develop and implement personalised learning plans

- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

- Enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
