We are working with a specialist SEN school in Leicester (LE2) that is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and communication difficulties.
Teaching KS2-KS4 students with a range of additional needs, tailoring lessons to suit individual learning styles.
Creating an inclusive and structured classroom environment that promotes engagement and personal development.
Using specialist teaching approaches, including PECS, Makaton, and sensory integration strategies.
Working closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development in a nurturing setting.
A highly regarded special education school providing a tailored curriculum for children aged 7-16.
A low-stimulation, structured environment designed to meet students' sensory and communication needs.
Strong team of SEN professionals, including speech and language therapists and occupational therapists.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS with experience in SEN education.
