Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced SEN Teacher to support a specialist school in Hillingdon, working with a mixed lower KS2 class of approximately 15 pupils.

The role is initially offered on a daily/weekly supply basis, with potential for longer-term arrangements and start ASAP. Tradewind offers competitive PAYE rates, consultant support, and access to CPD courses.

Qualifications

• QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEN.
• Experience working within a primary or specialist setting.
• Good understanding of differentiation and personalised learning.
• Strong classroom and behaviour-management skills.
• Calm, patient and nurturing approach.

Responsibilities

• Teach a mixed lower KS2 class of approximately 15 pupils.
• Plan and deliver engaging and appropriately differentiated lessons.
• Adapt teaching and learning to meet a range of SEN needs.
• Work closely with the LSAs supporting the class.
• Establish positive and consistent relationships with pupils.
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement and participation in learning.
• Maintain a calm, structured and supportive classroom environment.

Pay: 150- 250 per day, depending on experience

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced SEN Teacher to support a specialist school in Hillingdon, working with a mixed lower Key Stage 2 class.

The school is looking for a teacher who can provide high-quality teaching and support within a new class of approximately 15 pupils, working alongside a small team of LSAs.

This role is initially offered on a daily/weekly supply basis, allowing the school and successful candidate to establish a working relationship before considering any longer-term arrangement.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

• Teach a mixed lower KS2 class of approximately 15 pupils.
• Plan and deliver engaging and appropriately differentiated lessons.
• Adapt teaching and learning to meet a range of SEN needs.
• Work closely with the LSAs supporting the class.
• Establish positive and consistent relationships with pupils.
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement and participation in learning.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for an experienced teacher who has:

• Previous experience teaching pupils with special educational needs.
• Experience working within a primary or specialist setting.

• Strong classroom and behaviour-management skills.
• A calm, patient and nurturing approach.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a wider support team.

SEN or specialist-school experience is highly desirable.
