Job summary

Aspris Frome is recruiting a SEN Teacher for Fromefield Manor School, a new SEN school in central Frome. You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils aged 11-19 with autism and complex needs, using a stage-not-age approach to match development levels.

We seek a qualified teacher with SEN experience, strong communication, and a commitment to personalised learning and progress. Comprehensive induction and training support are provided, with safeguarding checks required.

Here at Aspris, we are proud to be a leading provider of specialist education services with over 30 schools nationwide.

Fromefield Manor School is a new SEN school (opened 9/24) located in central Frome, Somerset and is a special school for up to 30 pupils, aged 11-19 who have a diagnosis of autism with associated complex needs. Aspris already operate 5 successful SEN schools in the area, and as a Teacher you will have the support and the expertise of our associated partner schools to ensure high quality, resourcing and training for all our new colleagues.

We are looking to recruit an outstanding Teacher to join our new team. We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed person who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils. The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher and ideally have experience of teaching and supporting young people within SEN.

As a SEN Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual need.
  

• Teach using a stage-not-age approach, ensuring learning matches each student’s developmental level.
  

• Support students to develop core knowledge and functional skills leading to appropriate accreditation pathways.
  

• Build confidence, resilience and independence through structured and creative teaching approaches.
  

• Monitor, assess and track student progress in line with EHCP outcomes.

• Provide a safe, inclusive, nurturing, and appropriately adapted learning environment that meets the diverse educational, sensory, communication, and emotional needs of all pupils.

We are looking for a passionate practitioner who:

• Is a qualified teacher with experience in SEN or inclusive education.
• Has a strong understanding of teaching diverse learners.
• Can adapt learning creatively to meet a wide range of needs.
