Job summary

Glade Hill Primary & Nursery School in Bulwell invites an experienced, highly skilled teacher to join our specialist SEND base. You will teach children with complex needs and lead inclusive practices to raise achievement.

Working with our Inclusion staff, you will develop provision, collaborate with parents and colleagues, and support the progress of children with complex SEND, in a supportive, values‑driven school community.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching children with complex SEND.
• Strong knowledge of SEND provisions and inclusion.
• Ability to lead and support colleagues.
• Understanding of HLN and EHCP processes.

Requiredfor September, to supplement our fantastic teaching team and specialistInclusion staff, the Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint anoutstanding specialist teacher with particular responsibility for the provisionand progress of children with complex Special Educational Needs in one of ourspecialist base/ SEN unit classes.

The postis advertised as full-time andyou will be responsible for ensuring the high-standard of provision in thespecialist base classroom, working collaboratively with all staff and parents toaim for the very best for our children with complex additional needs.

• has an-depth knowledge, understanding and experience of teachingchildren and developing provision for children with special educationaland additional needs
