Job summary

PK Education Limited is seeking an experienced Post-16 ASC Teacher for a long-term placement in Birmingham to support ASC learners, including those with complex needs and behavioural challenges.

The teacher will take full responsibility for planning, delivering differentiated lessons, and evidencing pupil progress, in collaboration with SENDCo and support staff. QTS and strong behaviour management are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs
  • Strong behaviour management and restorative practice skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
  • Willingness to work across SEND/ SEMH schools across Birmingham
  • Experience planning and delivering differentiated lessons for complex SEND needs
  • Confidence with assessment, progress tracking and working as part of a wider SEND team

SEND Teacher -Birmingham
Start Date: September
Contract: Temporary ( temp to perm)
Pay: £140 - £200 per day

We are seeking an experienced Post-16 ASC Teacher for a long-term placement to support Post 16 Learners, working with ASC learners, some behavioural challenges and additional learning needs. The role involves teaching and taking full responsibility for their teaching, including planning and evidencing progress
