Are you a qualified Primary SEN Teacher with QTS and experience supporting pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties?
Do you have the patience, resilience and adaptability to create an engaging learning environment for children with complex additional needs?
Are you passionate about helping primary-aged pupils develop their confidence, independence and access to learning?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a community day special school in Birmingham supporting 94 pupils aged 3-11 with severe and complex learning difficulties. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan, with individual needs assessed through a range of professionals to ensure they receive appropriate specialist support.
The school is looking to appoint a Primary SEN Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Primary SEN Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to individual needs, work closely with support staff and contribute to a safe, supportive learning environment where pupils can make progress.
