Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Worcester is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support specialist schools and provisions. You will work closely with teachers to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language needs.

About the Role

You'll work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs
  • Moderate, Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties
  • Complex and Medical Needs

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support.

  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation using positive behaviour strategies.
  • Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
