The successful candidate will be calm, patient and able to adapt their approach to meet individual needs, helping the child build confidence and independence within a supportive school environment.
Location: DN12
Start Date:ASAP
Working Days: Wednesday - Friday, 3 days per week
Duration: Until October half term, with the possibility of a longer-term extension

The successful candidate will provide dedicated 1:1 support to a child with SEND, helping them to access learning, engage positively within the classroom and develop their confidence and independence.
The child has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), so the school is looking for someone who is calm, patient, nurturing and able to adapt their approach to meet the child's individual needs.
As part of our registration process, you'll need an enhanced DBS check and we'll need to see and copy your original qualifications before any placement. Teaching roles require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
