Create Education is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Barnehurst. Located in Barnehurst, Bexley, the role is term-time, 33 hours per week, with 39 weeks per year.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Mainstream Primary School in Barnehurst

Location: Barnehurst, Bexley

Hours: 33 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Working Hours: Monday 8:30am-5:15pm, Tuesday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm

Contract: Full-time, term-time

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: TA, BEX 5.1: FTE salary is £29,433.67, which is pro-rated to an actual annual salary of £25,316.77.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils, teachers and the wider school team to provide targeted support with learning, engagement and personal development.

The successful candidate will be someone who understands the importance of building positive relationships with pupils, while maintaining clear boundaries and promoting a calm, supportive and inclusive learning environment.

You will play an important role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning through targeted interventions, encouragement and consistent support.
