Job summary

Affinity Partnerships is recruiting a strong SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND in and out of the classroom in Essex. The role involves 1:1 mentoring, small or large group work, and implementing strategies to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and boost confidence.

You will work with teachers and support staff to promote effective behaviour management, monitor progress, and uphold safeguarding standards. Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Mentor identified students on a 1:1 basis or in groups.
• Implement strategies to manage and support pupils with challenging behaviours.
• Help pupils raise self-esteem and social skills.
• Monitor progress in improving behaviour.
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management techniques.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and reside in the UK.
