Teaching Personnel are working with a mainstream primary school in the OL1 area who are looking for a caring, resilient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive primary school team. You will support pupils with SEND, including SEMH needs and challenging behaviours, helping pupils engage with learning and build confidence.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will work closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviours. You will provide individual and small-group support, helping pupils to engage positively with learning, develop emotional regulation and build confidence and independence.
We are looking for someone who is patient, calm, nurturing and consistent, with the ability to build positive relationships with children while maintaining clear and appropriate boundaries. Previous experience working with SEN, SEMH or challenging behaviour is desirable, but we also welcome applicants who have the right attitude, commitment and willingness to learn.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
