SEN Teaching Assistant - ClactonFull-Time | Monday to Friday | Long-Term Opportunity

What will you be doing?

You'll become an important part of the school team, supporting pupils with additional needs both academically and pastorally. Your day could involve:

• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Helping children access lessons and take part in school life
• Developing positive relationships built on trust, patience and consistency
• Supporting communication, confidence and independence
• Helping pupils manage emotions and overcome barriers to learning
• Working alongside teachers and the wider SEN team

What we’re looking for

We're looking for someone who is kind, resilient, patient and genuinely passionate about helping children succeed. You might already be an experienced SEN TA, LSA or Learning Support Assistant, or perhaps you have gained valuable experience working with children or young people in another setting. Most importantly, you'll need to be someone who:

• Understands that every child is different
• Can remain calm and positive when things don't go to plan
• Builds strong, trusting relationships
• Is happy to adapt their approach to meet individual needs
• Wants to make a real difference every day
