Job summary

Spen Valley High School in Roberttown is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to help deliver targeted support for students with Special Educational Needs within the classroom. The role involves building rapport, supporting both one-to-one and small groups, and promoting an inclusive learning environment.

You will work term-time only, with hours 8:30am–3:00pm (4pm on Mondays for CPD), and you may be developing experience for teacher training. A DBS check will be required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
• Term-time only role with hours 8:30am–3:00pm (4:00pm on Mondays for CPD).
• Experience with students with SEN and developing inclusive learning environments.
• Role may appeal to someone considering teacher training to gain school experience.
• DBS checks required for all staff.

Responsibilities
